I am a hiker with a love of various mountain ranges and national parks, especially Yosemite. I have hiked peaks such as Half-Dome, Mont Blanc, Snowdon and Mt. Whitney! I also happen to work in software engineering (at the moment) and am currently working on continuing to develop my fullstack skills.

Hiking Blog

  • Developed a simple hiking blog using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and ChatGPT
  • Voted 3rd place in 2023 amateur hiking blog contest

Stall Analyzer

  • Developed and implemented an automated event-driven diagnostic system in C# for interpreting engine stalls and deadlocks in the video game Star Citizen
    • Performs special operations on an active (but stalled/deadlocked) game process to generate crash logs and memory dumps
    • Parses generated crash logs and dumps to obtain relevant diagnostic data
    • Compares against other entries in stall/deadlock catalog and automatically submits results of the analysis to bug tracking system

Electron Gun Driver Software

  • Developed Real-time computer and embedded control systems in LabVIEW and LabVIEW FPGA for a network of Electron Gun instruments used in a cutting-edge Plasma Physics experiment
    • Provides hooks to external experiment-wide control systems allowing adjustment of operational parameters automatically and within tolerance limits
    • Provides diagnostic data in real time and records snapshots of operational parameters for later analysis
    • Prevents overloading of instruments using feedback loops controlled through FGPAs
